Time flies, TomTom is already 12 weeks old! Yesterday we went to the vet for his vacinations and he now weighs 7 kilo. His ears do not know yet which way to go and everyday is a surprise to see what they are like that day. We will have to be patient to find out what his ears will look like in the end. We made some new pictures today. More photo’s can be found in his photo album!
We made a lovely walk today in Soestduinen. We had some nice sunshine, so ideal weather to take some new photo’s of TomTom! The rest of the photo’s can be seen in his photo album.
It has been a busy week for TomTom full of experiences and adventures.
On Sunday he went with Gimmick to an agility trial, where he played with other dogs an took a look at the agility. On Monday it was time to go to the vet for his second shot. We also weighed him and it showed he has been growing well, he was 5,75 kilo.
He also had to go on walks in the forest every day and play with the other dogs. On Tuesday he took a trip to Zeeland on his own to pick up Mirte. He melted a lot of hearts at the campsite. On Wednesday it was time for puppy training and he did very well. He has no problem at all doing his exercises surrounded by other pups.
Yesterday he went out to diner with us and slept under the table like the good dog he is. So we have loads to do with the new pup in our home, but we are very pleased with this happy fellow!
Last week TomTom had his first “free shaping” clicker session. I always start free shaping with the pink box, just to see if the dog will sit in it himself. During the first session he pretty quickly moved from putting his head in the box to putting his 2 frontpaws in it, and I that point I stopped the session.
Today we started with the box again and after 1 time putting his head in and the second time putting his front paws in, he surprised me by jumping in the box and sitting down. Clever boy, all by himself!!
All is going very well with TomTom and he is already feeling very much at home. It is so much fun seeing him explore his world and discovering the fun things other pups discovered before him (like the pebbles around our water ornament). He also loves to play with mum Nessa and sometimes with “uncle” Gimmick. So no more television for us, we have live entertainment!!
This morning we went to collect Nessa and TomTom and they are now at home! All is well. The introduction to Babs and Gimmick was without any problem and within half an hour Gimmick was inviting TomTom to play. We are enjoying ourselves with Nessa back home and ofcourse TomTom being a happy & nosy puppy! He already found out where to get the best water …
Yesterday we went on tour with TomTom to Dwingelo. There are two litters of Border Collie pups, who are one and two weeks younger, so TomTom could experience other pups. We also made some nice outdoor photo’s.
By now we have also made a photo album for TomTom where you can find more photo’s!
